Attaching document to Sage CRM record

You can attach a document created in another application to a Sage CRM record and make it available for other users to view. The documents you attach must comply with the file size and type defined by your system administrator. Your system administrator can also limit the number of files you can attach at a time.

The system administrator can restrict the type of files you can upload. For example, prohibiting .exe or .bat files.
  1. Open the relevant record. For more information on how find a record, see Finding information.

  2. Select the Documents tab.

  3. Add the document you want to attach:

    • To browse for and select a document, select Add File, locate and select the file, and select Open.

    • To upload a document using drag and drop, drag single or multiple files from the current location to the Drop files here area.

    The file is listed under File(s).

  4. Complete the Document details and select Save.
