Description

CSV file export delimiter

Sets the delimiter to use in Comma-separated Values (CSV) files.

The delimiter applies when you:

  • Export data from Sage CRM to a CSV file.
  • Upload data from a CSV file to Sage CRM.

    In this case, the CSV file must use the delimiter you specify in this field.

Currency

Sets the currency to use in Sage CRM.

Default download folder

Allows you to specify the path to the default local folder where your web browser stores downloaded files.

When this option is populated and you download a merged document or a file attached to a record in Sage CRM, your web browser prompts you to open that file in the relevant application installed on your computer.

This option applies to the following types of downloaded files: 

  • Comma-separated values (.csv)

  • Text (.txt)

  • Microsoft Excel (.xls or .xlsx)

  • Microsoft PowerPoint (.ppt or .pptx)

  • Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)

Default email address

Allows you to select the default email address to add to the From field on the New Email screen. This field applies only if you can send emails from two or more accounts.

Default email template

Sets the default email template. The template is used when you create a new email in Sage CRM.

You can use this field to disable or reenable your email signature, if it exists. For more information, see Managing your email signature.

Default screen for company

Sets the initial tab to display when you open a Company record.

You can select one of the following tabs:

  • Summary
  • Interactive Dashboard

Default tablet version

Sets how to display Sage CRM when you view it on a tablet.

Possible values:

  • Desktop Version. Displays full desktop version of Sage CRM.
  • Tablet Version. Displays Sage CRM using the tablet theme.

Display three-line menu

Allows you to select how the main menu is displayed.

Possible values:

  • Always. Moves all main menu items, both standard and custom, to the three-line menu () located in the top left corner of the Sage CRM screen. Use this value when the main menu doesn't fit in the Sage CRM screen because it includes many items or item names are long.
  • Automatically. Moves all main menu items to the three-line menu (☰) on narrow screens only. Otherwise, the main menu is displayed at the top of the screen.

Email screen position

Sets how to display the New Email screen.

Possible values:

  • Normal. Displays the screen in the current window.
  • Popup. Displays the screen in a new popup window.

Empty recent list for each session

Allows you to clean up or keep records in the recent list ( ) provided in the top bar.

Possible values:

  • Yes. Cleans up the recent list when you log off.
  • No. Keeps records in the recent list when you log off, so that you can use them after next logon.

Grid size

Sets the default maximum length of lists and grids on a page.

Line item screen position

Allows you to display the Line Item screen in Popup or Split view.

Log me in to

Sets the default initial page to display when you log on to Sage CRM or when you click the Sage CRM logo in the top left corner of the Sage CRM window..

On-screen coaching

Enables or disables on-screen coaching.

Possible values.

  • On. Enables on-screen coaching.
  • Off. Disables on-screen coaching.
  • Minimized. Enables on-screen coaching and displays it minimized until you click Maximize On-screen Coaching.
  • Customized. Enables on-screen coaching and allows you to minimize or maximize it on a screen-by-screen basis.

Pop out list activation by

Sets a method to open pop-out lists.

Possible values:

  • Hover. Hover over a menu button to open the pop-up list.
  • Click. Right-click a menu button to open the pop-up list.

Preferred theme

Select the theme you want to use when you log on to Sage CRM. A theme defines how the Sage CRM user interface looks. It is a combination of content layouts, icons, and user interface colors. Themes don't apply to User Help, System Administrator Help, and Self Service.

This field is available only if Sage CRM2023 R1 was upgraded from a previous version where existed any other themes except Contemporary. For more information, contact your system administrator.

Report print preview default orientation

Sets the default page orientation (portrait or landscape) used on the Report Display Options page for producing a report in PDF format.

Report print preview default page size

Sets the default page size used on the Report Display Options page for reports in PDF format.

Possible values:

  • Letter
  • A4

Show cases pipeline

Allows you to display or hide the cases pipeline above the list of opportunities in My CRM | Cases and Team CRM | Cases.

Show leads pipeline

Allows you to show or hide the leads pipeline on the Leads tab within My CRM and Team CRM.

Show opportunities pipeline

Allows you to display or hide the opportunities pipeline above the list of opportunities in My CRM | Opportunities and Team CRM | Opportunities.

Show outbound calls In My CRM

Allows you to display or hide the Outbound Call Lists tab and menu item in the My CRM main menu.

Show solutions In My CRM

Allows you to display or hide the Solutions tab and menu item in the My CRM main menu.

This field applies only if the system administrator has given you rights to view Solutions.

Show version and license info

Allows you to show or hide information about the installed Sage CRM version, license key, and version support end date. This information is displayed at the top of the screen in the My profile icon | Administration area.

This field is available to Sage CRM administrators only.

To retrieve and display information about currently supported versions, Sage CRM requires an Internet connection . If your Sage CRM server is not connected to the Internet, we recommend that you set this field to No.
