Solution

When you send a group to Mailchimp, the Sage CRM notifications area displays Merge Max Limit Exceeded.

This message indicates that your list in Mailchimp includes one or more merge fields that are not supported by Sage CRM.

Sage CRM only supports merge fields of type text.

The only exception is the EMAIL field. For details, see Mailchimp audience fields automatically added by Sage CRM.

Open your audience in Mailchimp and remove all fields whose type is not text. Make sure to keep the EMAIL field.
