Improve Sage CRM performance by disabling chatbot

We have provided a new option Enable Sage CRM Ally in the system behavior settings and user preferences, allowing system administrators and users to enable or disable the chatbot called Sage CRM Ally. By disabling the chatbot you can improve Sage CRM performance.

To enable or disable the chatbot for all users, system administrators should go to My profile | Administration | System | System Behavior and use the Enable Sage CRM Ally option.

Select one of the following values:

Yes (default). Enables Sage CRM Ally for all users and displays the chatbot icon in the lower right corner of the Sage CRM window. A user can select the icon to ask questions about Sage CRM.

When Yes is selected, Sage CRM Ally can be disabled for a particular user in the user preferences.

  • No. Disables Sage CRM Ally for all users, helping to improve Sage CRM performance.

When the chatbot is enabled in the system behavior settings, the Enable Sage CRM Ally option becomes available in the user preferences, allowing a system administrator or a user to disable or enable the chatbot for the given user account, as follows:

  • A user should go to My profile | Preferences.

  • A system administrator should go to My profile | Administration | Users | Users, search for and select a user, and then select User Preferences.

Sage CRM Ally is still in development and may give irrelevant or inaccurate answers. Always double-check the information provided by the chatbot.
